God has a purpose for every man, and that primary purpose is to glorify Him. No man ever came to earth without a purpose.
You are not your own, you were made for God’s glory. But out of God’s benovelence, He allowed humans to also do their will: make choices and so on.
And as humans, we are to appreciate that kindness and use it wisely. Which simply means, whatever you choose to do or achieve on earth should be in alignment with your primary purpose (1Cor 10:31).
Purpose in the dictionary, is defined as the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.
For which reasons were you created?
For which reasons do you exists?
Until you figure these things out, you are not really living. The greatest pain in life is not death; but a life without a purpose.
As a “normal person”, you wake up every morning, say your devotion, eat, go to work, and sleep. And then you repeat the same thing everyday. Nothing is more heartbreaking than being alive without knowing why. Every man has a Purpose, you are not a mistake! God doesn’t make mistakes.
When you figure out God’s purpose for your life, that purpose offers a sense of direction. It guides life decisions, influences your behaviour, it creates meaning to life entirely.
It’s so sad to see many humans believe that joy comes from being rich and having all the things in the world. You can’t find true joy outside God. You can only find joy when you glorify God; When what you do is in alignment with God’s will.
HOW DO I FIND AND FULFIL MY PURPOSE?
Through Prayer and Submission (Communion)
John 15:4&5 kjv “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except he abide in me.
5' I am the vine, ye are the branches; he that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit. For without me, he can do nothing”.
You cannot discover God’s purpose for your life on your own or outside Him. You don’t just wake up one day and by your wisdom, you figure out your purpose. You need to go the vine. Without the vine, you cannot bear fruit.
Submitting yourself; submitting your will to His will.
John 15:2 “Every branch in me that bearer not fruit He taketh away; and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth It, that it may bring forth more fruit”.
We’ve all been given the gifts, the ways in which we are meant to glorify God is already in us. God completed the whole thing, even before we were born. But He sent us to earth to begin that which He finished in us.
So when you go to God, submitting yourself, giving full submission, He will take away everything limiting you and that which will limit you from being who He made you to be. And that branch that beareth fruit, that branch that glorifies Him, He purgeth It, that it will produce more fruit.
While growing up, I always had this thing for singing, I knew one way or the other I was going to be a chorister. But I thought that was all God wanted me to do on earth; to sing and glorify Him. But ever since I began to commune with God, a new version of me comes out each time. Things I didn’t know I had in me, I begin to do them. I didn’t know God had plans of using my hands to glorify Him. I thought writing was just what I usually use to console myself, whenever I was down.
But during my communion with God, I began to write things I still don’t believe I wrote. Sometimes, when i write and go back to read, I ask myself how I wrote it.
My point? There’s so much in you that the world needs. Things even you don’t know God laid inside of you.
The one and only way to activate these gifts God gave to you is : Prayer and Submission (Communion).
That’s why the devil always finds a way to distract us, because he knows when we commune with God, we discover who we are in Christ; we gradually unveil God’s plan for our lives. And when we allow God lead us, we walk in the right direction and build God’s kingdom.
There’s more to ministry than: Singing, pastoring, being a drama minister or a prophet, apostle or evangelist. There’s the ministry of Giving, Writing and so many more. But you won’t know that which God has given you to glorify Him; if you don’t allow Him abide in you, and you in Him.
God is waiting for you!!
GOD BLESS YOU
